Crispy Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:
4 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. shortening (butter flavored)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar


Baking your cookies
Preheat oven to 350° . In large mixing bowl cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs one at a time beating each until well blended.Stir in vanilla extract. Combine flour , baking soda and cream of tartar.Gradually beat in your flour mix to the creamed mixture.Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.Bake until golden brown about 10-12 minutes.Cool on wire rack.
Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
